Description
We say there is no better way to see the Cambodian countryside than by jeep.
This spectacular tour is designed for adventure lovers who love to see the real-life of Cambodian in the countryside.
Today, your jeep tour starts from your hotel and heads along national road 6 to the east side of town. The journey takes about 1 hour before turning to the dirt road in the countryside where you could see, smell and taste the locals.
Travel through towns and rice fields, riverfront to Kompong Khleang floating hamlet and dine on stilts in a typical Khmer home in one day. Routing transport is covered with the addition of convenience from Siem Reap hotels.
Following your driver’s visit to your Hotel in Siem Reap, board a vintage jeep for the tour. Continue on your bicycle, halt along a level road and stop at a small fish market if you reach the tranquil dirt lanes outside the city boundaries.
Have a break for a refreshing drink before heading to the floating town Kompong Khleang on thin panels. Hop on a boat into Kompong Khleang, have lunch and sail to a monk’s school and a pagoda isolated on the mainland.
In the afternoon, you visit another floating town, which literally sits on the water surface and travels from one point to another over the year.
With the return conveyance to Siem Reap, your excursion finishes.

The countryside excursion was very interesting, and it was hosted by a contextual. First, he took us to a farm where we saw rice being threshed. Then, we drove through the rice fields and the lotus lakes before arriving at an elegant shop selling the lotus fibre, silk, and cotton items. After that, we went to something like a fish pond area and had a delicious lunch before being driven back to our hotel…I had a great time and would strongly recommend this tour.
